Far Out West Community Garden & Outdoor Film Series

Our mission is to build local community, increase awareness about our local, regional, and global natural environment, and foster motivation to make change through gathering, gardening and regular screenings of important films. Get involved as a garden plot holder, garden volunteer and attend our regular, outdoor film showings.

Community Garden

A 24 plot community garden located at the far western edge of San Francisco’s Sunset District, with a focus on water catchment and aquifer recharge, and community engagement.

Outdoor Film Series

We showcase carefully curated and important films centered around environmental justice, equity, social justice, the arts, farming, and a love of Nature. Evening showings are typically on a Saturday night in the Outer Sunset District of San Francisco.
